On Saturday, April 27th, 2024, the Hidalgo County Bar Association hosted their Annual David Hockema Civil Trial Conference in McAllen, TX. This is a day-long trial conference featuring several speakers covering various topics, one of which was our very own Quentin Brogdon! The Hidalgo County Bar Association
The David Hockema Civil Trial Conference features a day-long schedule of various breakout sessions and keynote speakers covering a range of topical areas in the legal field. The Hidalgo County Bar Association, founded in 1928, offers resources for legal professionals and the community-at-large. Offerings range from continuing legal education to member services, and the association serves more than 2500 lawyers in 13 surrounding counties.
In 2003, the charitable and public service arm of the Hidalgo County Bar Association was founded. The Hidalgo County Bar Foundation is the conduit by which the association’s members support the community through various educational and public service programs.
Speaking at the Conference
The association is dedicated to increasing the community’s understanding and appreciation of the legal system, and the Civil Trial Conference is only one of the many ways they accomplish this. During the 2024 conference, Quentin Brogdon spoke on cross-examining expert witnesses and shared his insights and experiences with his fellow colleagues. We are honored to share our passion for justice with others, and this was an excellent opportunity to connect with our Rio Grande Valley friends and colleagues.
